Why CBRR training is urgently needed…
Christian parents urgently need to regain their place as the key worldview training voice in the life of their young adults.
Cultural voices loudly offer young people false stories about why we are here. Sadly, many young adults will walk away from the faith if they cannot connect the dots between what they have learned from the the Bible and real world problems.
CBRR Training provides Christian parents and young people with a simple, shared vocabulary to interpret real-life experiences. The CBRR method is clear enough to navigate traumatic life experiences and strong enough to guide our understanding of major world events.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What does CBRR stand for?
CBRR stands for Created-Broken-Redeemed-Restored, a four-part description of the overall story revealed in the Bible. The story revealed in the Bible holds the answer to where we came from, why we are here, what went wrong, and how God is working to fix it. God’s story gives us the root explanation of everything.
Can I use this as a small group?
Yes! The small group leader will subscribe the the “CBRR Standard” subscription which includes videos and discussion questions. Each family participating in the group should subscribe to the “CBRR Basic” level to gain access to the videos throughout the course.
Can I use this with my teenager?
Absolutely! Not only was the core of this training developed with teenagers, many current subscribers watch the videos with their teenagers to prompt meaningful discipleship conversations.
Is this course denominational?
No. The CBRR method was built in a non-denominational setting (Catholics and Pentecostal, Baptists and Presbyterians, and every Bible-believing Christian in-between). While denominations differ on many issues, there are essential standards to be held by all Bible-believing Christians. This course works from three primary assumptions: The Bible is inerrant and infallible, and God is as the Bible says, and humans are as described by the Bible.
Where did this training begin?
Coach Brandon Smeltzer worked in Christian education for 17 years as a Bible teacher and administrator. Through the years, he wrestled with ways to help teenagers connect the dots between the Bible and their everyday lives in authentic ways. Students began to come to class and home groups with excitement to learn how God’s story explains real experiences. Parents took note, and soon, Coach Brandon was leading communities of adults. To date, hundreds of teens and adults have grown through CBRR. The resounding feedback from both: “I’ve never had a more practical course.”
“Ideas have consequences. Bad ideas have victims.”
